I'm seriously not sure how to go about this. I renewed for a two-year sub about a month before the cancellation was announced. I'd like my money back. Failing that, at least either the full World's Collide/Unite since I didn't pick any of that up.

Sadly, you ain't getting your money back. I tried to get a refund myself. You can get it transferred to something else, or put it on credit. Originally they were going to move it to "Sonic the Hedgehog" for me, so seeing people getting Jughead is a little odd.

The Jughead bit people are talking about was basically a coupon people were getting. It's not where their subscription issues went.

Maud Pie from My Little Pony really wrecked my view of Tempo, most of the time they have the same dull look on their faces and how Vesper Woman was saying all Tempo talks about is rocks. Also Vesper Woman is Pinkie Pie to me.

Speaking of Vesper Woman, I think Vesper is a typo/misspelling, Vesper means "Evening" and is actually word connected with Venus and Bats, Vespa means "Wasp." People seems to confuse Vesper with Vespa all the time.

Also It looks like we got to see Blues in his human from, Yeah was wearing trench coat but his hands were bare and no way he'll fit those bulky arms under that coat with out transforming

Just say she's named after the Catalán word for "Wasp Nest".

Vesper Woman honestly reminded me a lot of Marvel comic' Wasp, not just design-wise obviously since she's meant to evoke a wasp, but her personality reminded me of Janet as well. Probably completely unintentional, but was happy to see a character that reminded me of one my favorite Avengers :) .

That, and it was thought that naming her something that most people associate with a brand of scooter wasn't a good idea.

I did make that connection anyway, mostly because I like the mental image of Vesper Woman and Quake Woman running errands scooting around on a, er... scooter.

The name "Vesper Woman" is pretty wierd, since all the robot master, especially those related to animals, are straightforward and easy to connect their name to their ability and job. Another thing that bothered me about her is she seems to have a very short skirt made of cloth instead of hard metal or something.

This is somewhat unrelated but unsure where else to ask, but does anyone know who edits the megaman wiki? All the Archie robot masters were categorized as "robot master without a netnavi counterpart" and I'm having a headache.

...man I'm only writing criticism here, sorry about that. The two issue above's been bothering me for days I can't look at the issue with a happy mind.

I agree it's probably not my first choice for naming a wasp or bee based RM, but also I dunno, because 'Guts Man' is a weird one for English-speakers. I guess 'Guts' is some kind of mistranslation from the character's Japanese name or something because it brings other things to mind for English-speakers (I would link some comics that make fun of that character's name but you can probably find them yourselves).

My guess would be they couldn't emulate Honey Woman's dress too closely so had to go for that design. Also Proto Man has a scarf which is probably made of cloth.

I mean, not to 'bust your chops' about any of your points, just offering a different view.

Nah it's totally fine. The way you write is very kind.
I'm going to disagree with you but I understand and respect your opinion.

I didn't think that much about what "guts" means over here...ew.
"Guts" is one of the many Japanese-English words that confuses both countries.
In Japan it means something along the line of courage, toughness, strength, whatever,
stemmed from its original English meaning and some of the idiom its used in. Sometimes used in relation with the fist.
So, I guess people see her name like guts man? I guess I'm not fond of her name much because it's not an English (or Japanese-engrish) word like the rest...

What's different about Protoman, Oilman, and for some version of Shadowman, is that their "clothes" is not part of their original design.
It's more of an accessory put on later that they doesn't necessarily need and can take off freely anytime without a problem.

That's not true in Vesper woman's case. Unless she can take off her skirt when she feels like it. If she was a robot like Honey Woman, it should be like a part of her body that she can't take off or alter. I just checked and her dress is reflecting light like her helmet, maybe its made out of some soft metal? Another character wearing "clothes" is Tomahawk man, but that's more of decoration.

We only see Honey Woman in the sketch, but I'm pretty sure her dress is not made of some soft fabric. I think the second to left one had a note about it too.

And her dress design. I think it would be better if it was not so...how do you say it... very short a skirt made of thin material you can see underneath if not for the angle and careful drawing of the writers. I don't know what Lalinde was thinking when she decided out of all options to give a skirt to a FLYING robot. The original design dealt with it by making it bigger and spherical, with her feet getting in the way even if you tried to look. What's she going to do when a gust of wind blows it upward like Tomahawk man?

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!?

In the end I'm not a megaman specialist, Archie's not CAPCOM, and me getting upset won't change anything.
But it made me feel better for having someone to listen to my concern, so thank you for that.

(I just noticed writing this, but Vesper Woman is lacking her special weapon. All of Honey Woman's design have one of their arm altered to a hive, permanently since Megaman, Bass, and depending on the game Protoman's the only ones who can alter their arm to different modes. Even pre-Hornet=Sting man had his arm shaped like a needle. Hornet man has both hands free, but that's because his body contains the bees. How the heck does she do her job?)

I'd guess, or hope at least, that Vesper Woman's skirt is made of plastic or something- hard but pliable plastic. It'd be a bit awkward but I think it'd fit the Classic Aesthetic. Better than Quake Woman's hair, at least :V

King has a cape, Terra has magnificent hair, Roll goes into battle in her little red dress ... there are exceptions to the overall classic look, especially when you get to the later games.

Gotta admit, I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't full-on Honey Woman, but whatever.

Sure, but when designing new characters to fit an aesthetic, you ought to keep care to have the exceptions remain exceptions, instead of a new rule. Not that Archie has been having issues with that, I think, other than as mentioned Quake Woman's hair.
