You have to wonder if a good many people that call themselves Mega Man fans are showing that the one tweet from Capcom UK about Legends 3's canning was right and could be applied to the whole franchise at this point. Is there any support for Mega Man and the like anymore? Outside of Gunvolt, I'm questioning that now, and that's the real bummer.
Ain't it the truth?

With Legends 3, well, there's something of an excuse considering that they outright said you didn't have to participate and that wound up being an outright lie. Just a bald-faced lie on their part. Here though, Ian outright said those kid of numbers would ensure the fate of the series.

But, you know, MM is such a fractured series. All the MM are different. And it's become a hindrance. If you like X there's little to motivate you to pick up the classics. EXE might have some overlap, but not too much - a lot of characters aren't there. Legends is just too different. None of the characters would ever show up in Classics, and none of the relationships can even be transferred over.

That said, if there was a Legends comic I'd support it, just to support the franchise as a whole. But I dunno ... I can't completely blame them for not doing so. Still ... you'd think more fans would think along those lines. There's zero chance of any games if you don't support the comic and other properties.

Truth be told, I can accept it being over, and am not even entirely surprised.

I just think if it's a hiatus/cancellation that can be prevented, then why not give it a shot?

Agreed.

...Wish I was a popular youtuber who could direct attention to the book, or something.

There are some what popular youtubers that have said they love the Mega Man comics, Gaijin Goombahis defiantly one, I'm pretty sure Christopher Niosi of TOME is. He did that Videowith Ryan Jampole. I personally seem to remember seeing one more. I sure others on this forum could think of

Anyway I'm unsure if these people know about the hiatus of the comic coming up, and if they did would they feel like doing something about it. I guess it couldn't hurt to ask.

Make the Game Grumps idly mention it and watch sales skyrocket.

Honestly someone should do a Patreon request for Linkara to Review a couple arcs. It'd be interesting to see what would happen.

Although maybe he'd hate them like Andrew Dickman and that'd create less sales so who knows.

When did Andrew Dickman say he hated the comics? That sounds weird coming from him considering he's a die hard Mega Man fan and all.

It's been years since I've ever talked to him but I remember he called Archie Comics Cowards for giving Oil Man a scarf and me and him got into a debate about this on Twitter and he told me in all sincerity that Oil Man's design is "Only Racist if you are racist."

Recently he gave an exasperated sigh on a preview page for the crossover Dan Shoening posted on Deviantart.

Really? Is that all? I never found Oil Man's original design to be racist, but I still think Archie made a clever decision with his comic design by simply moving the scarf he already had to cover his mouth and keeping his original (and more fitting) black skin. It made him look a lot more menacing in my opinion. That being said, I think Andrew calling Archie "cowards" was completely uncalled for. Just because a design was changed doesn't necessarily mean that Archie was afraid of backlash. I just hope he at least appreciates the comic for being one of the few things currently keeping Mega Man alive.

...that\s the prove that he hates Megaman? It's a bit too little for me. if you read my comments, but only ones about Unite/Collide, then you could deduce I hate Sonic.

Oil man does look better with the scarf, but I wish they'd either redesign his face, or bring the attention on how Dr. Light could design such a racist design.

As long as he wears the scarf, the lips exist in a quantum state. He might not have them at all.
