References to Mega man in Mega Man

So I've been watching Clement's Let's Play of Mega Man Legends, when I noticed something interesting in Barrell's room. This moon statue here Looks a lot like the Classic character Luna. Had me thinking about other references.

I know in Mega Man Zero 3 or 4, there are Reaverbot eyes on the walls, and in ZX, someone dug up Mega Man's Rush car from "Battle and Chase" and someone else found an E tank that they give you

ZX Advent references Bad Box Art Mega Man, and the Battle Network games had several nods to the classic series.

-Mega Man X4 has an in-series reference with the Chill Penguin and Blizzard Buffalo ice sculptures near the start of Frost Walrus' stage.
-I also think X7 was trying to recreate the Highway Stage from X1 with its opening stage in spots, but let's never speak of that attempt again.
-Mega Man Zero 1 has a Repliforce submarine in one area of the game.

Mega Man 7 had a Robot Museum mini-stage featuring past Robot Masters, and MM9 and 10 references every past classic Mega Man game.

Why not? That part might have been the one thing the game came close to getting right.

X7 also got the sheer, overpowered strength of the X-Buster just right, a delightful trend that continued in X8. But I must agree that the negatives outweigh the positives in the former title.

I would be like to see Bad Box Art Mega Man as a villain someday. :(hearty laughter):

Can we list references to Megaman's games in Megaman's comics? There were few of them.

Kind of like that. I remember the Battle & Chase interview crew along with Neige from Zero 4 showing up in the very first issue.
