7 issue adaptation considering it was the longest game in the whole series?

8 masters, break man, betrayal, gamma's story, doc robot.

Apologies for bumping this since this is the only topic suitable to say as a heads-up.

According to Diamond comics, this issue should come out next week at comic shops. Though whether or not subscribers will get it earlier is unclear still.

I called Archie's customer service line yesterday to check on StH#256 since the 1/1 street date passed. The representative told me that all of their comics right now are delayed because of the holidays (which has been said several times in other threads), but that they just got StH#256 in that day, so it's en route. Jonathan Gray also tweeted an image of StH#256 and MM#33 yesterday, so I assume MM#33 will also be showing up any day for subscribers.

Today is also MM#33's street date and it was included in this week's "new release" email blast, and usually, the comic goes up for digital download on the street date... but, nothing yet.

I have got this email from Comixology:
Comixology wrote:Subscription Notice: Mega Man #33 Delay

Dear fellow Mega Man fan,

Last week, you were notified by email that Mega Man #33 was due to come out this week. Due to unforeseen delays in publisher and production schedules, there is no confirmed release date at this time.

When this book is released, we'll reach out and let you know.

If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us at support@comixology.com or on Twitter at @cmxsupport.

Thanks for your patience!

However my subscriptions page says that the new release date is January 15th.

Now I'm just wondering if we found this to be a less-bigger deal had the last issue not end with a cliffhanger.

I mean, yeah, we know Mega Man is going to survive, but still.

What sucks is that they advertised that it would be out yeseterday.

I was originnaly expecting it to come next week because of the StH delay but then got my hopes up yesterday.

Yunno, besides the fact that we know Mega Man will survive and that Wily will start easing his way back in Light's trust, I kind of hope that we'll maybe see Break Man drop in without anybody noticing. Just to see how Roll is doing and realize how strong Mega Man really was back the ruins compared to when they first fought. Sort of plant the seed for not only wanting to test Rock during the MM3 arc, but to also finally see how bad Wily is despite still wanting to fulfill his debt to the doctor for saving him.

Looks like the interior artist changed from Brent McCarthy to POWREE. (The original solicit and covers both credited McCarthy.)

Personally, I'm thrilled. I've wanted POWREE to do an issue of Mega Man for a while now, and I'm not at ALL disappointed by her work.

Mega Man having his eyes open while being operated on seems kind of creepy, although I guess it matches the main cover in that regard.

And yeah, Wily is already trying to cover his tracks and kiss up to Light, though you can tell he's still concerned about his enemy's well-being.

Agreed.

Enjoyed the preview, can't wait to read the full issue. Loved Light's reaction to the news about Blues.

The preview looks good, the watermarks will never stop getting old for free promotional material, though. Looks like I'll have to wait until my own issue arrives again before doing them. Oh well.
