Hey, I love Bad Box Art Mega Man... more the way he was in MMU than SFxTekken, but still.

Paul Kaminski already confirmed that the solicit is wrong and will include #21, #22, #23, and #28.

What in the world does this variant have to do with anything?

Nothing. It's just for fun. Which is the point of a Varient Cover.

Exactly. Unless I missed those chapters where Eggman and Wily were riding bikes, playing Eggs-box, and having camping trips...

This is their destiny. Instead of a variant cover, it needs to be an actual battle one day.

In fairness, those were more about Eggman and Wily together, rather than what they were actually doing.

My brother has had an amazing idea for a story featuring Bad Box art Mega Man.

Spoiler: show
He's just some fat guy who get's hit on the head making him think he's Mega Man and try's to save people but instead causes more damage than the robot masters. As you can tell it'd be a comedy and trust me if he did it it would be a Jhonen Vasquez level crazyfest.

this is why I'm disappointed to see it as a variant. Can you imagine the poor guy walking into a comic shop and seeing a cover that promises a crossover between Mega Man and BBAMM, only to find the story has no reference to the guy whatsoever?

This would have been an amazing cover for a BBAMM story, but nope. Had to be a random variant.

Nice cover. But that variant is just too awesome for words, I love it!

That's what variants like this are for, though. They're just fun little images that has no bearing on the plot. I mean, Marvel makes LEGO variants for their issues, and no one thinks that it's going to be an all LEGO issue or something. It's just for fun.
