It's really hard to consider fiction and animals, because we actually tend to humanize animals more in writing than they actually are. Rush isn't a human, obviously, but I would consider him an exceptionally gifted robot dog in a way. It also depends on if he can recognize himself in a mirror but we haven't had that happen yet, so we won't know exactly how intelligent or aware he is of his surroundings yet in Archie canon.

Hilariously, this also means that Scooby Doo is actually very gifted for a dog.

No, that was Wily Stage 3-4, sung by Dr. Light.

I figure Rush is a low-to-moderately intelligent robot who acts like a dog.

I wish I could forget that one because that game and the Bandai Wonderswan pseudo-sequel... oy. More excited about seeing the comic adaptations of those ones than anything thanks to that issue of teases (#20).

In the cartoon, Rush is Scooby Doo. It's stupid, yeah, but it could work.

According to Joe Ruby Rush was designed to be as distant from Scooby-Doo as possible.

I guess it didn't work. XD

So if Mega Man X stars Mega Man X, why doesn't Mega Man V star Mega Man V?

Because "Mega Man X" stars "X", not "Mega Man X" and "Mega Man V" is roman numeral five.

I have a question about the Megaman Legends franchise. It's about the futuristic technology. You know how there's all that epic looking technology in the game such as the reaverbots, as well as those epic ruins. How advanced is they technology in the game? I have a feeling it's beyond intelligent because of how it can do many things? Also, why didn't the people have this technology and instead have less advanced technology as seen in the towns of the games?

It's a post-post apocalyptic scenario, also commonly found on Ghibli's works. Civilization was ultra advanced, to the point of creating a whole race of artificial humans, but then disaster struck, everything was flooded, and people had to start from near zero, which is why common technology is closer to 20th Century.

I see. But what caused the disaster and the flood?

We don't know :\ There MIGHT be a hint about it in ZXA's secret ending, but we won't know for sure.
