Added Mega Man #46 and waiting in extreme anxiousness for May. I feel we're going to have a lot of stuff going on in this timeline.

So if Worlds Collide takes place post-MM10, how will the comics handle it when they get around to that time period? Would it be a bunch of flashbacks or notes saying to read the crossover, or what?

Personally I'd rather wait until Worlds Unite was out before declaring it takes place directly after the Mega Man 3 arc. There could be a time jump for all we know.

the inclusion of Break Man in a cover in it and it appearing 2 months after teh end of the mega man 3 arc is sufficient evidence so far to place it there. Of course things won't be solid until after its complete. Remember how crazy Worlds Unite was at first?

As per the recent podcast with Ian, I've added in X7 and X8 to the timeline

Also as per the podcast, I have added a new feature to the chronology: Alternate timelines. "Rock of Ages" is our first look at an alternate timeline, one in which Mega Man didn't go into space, and one in which he didn't face Dr. Cossack before meeting Quint. Ian confirmed in a podcast that the arc immediately after "Worlds Unite" is "Mega Man IV"

How would Rock have gone through the third game without ever going into space? No matter what: Wily could not have stolen the Time Skimmer until sometime after Dawn of X, which immediately precedes Legends of the Blue Bomber.

Hm, are you suggesting that "Rock of Ages" takes place in different place in the alternate timeline? Perhaps Mega Man knew of Gamma, but didn't yet go into space after the energy elements.

That would also mean that Wily built the Mega Man killers and the Genesis Unit instead of using the Doc Robot.

No, I'm saying that even if Rock of Ages occurred in an alternate timeline after MegaMan3, before Megaman4, Rock would have gone into space regardless. The events of Mega Man 3 require it. Furthermore, there's no room to fit Rock of Ages before Mega Man 3 either; the development of the Time Skimmer has yet to progress far enough.

how would you explain him recognizing gamma and not remembering going into space?

I'd just chalk it up to Rock never having gone into space:
A) since MegaMan3.
B) without Rush.
C) to a space station.
D) that far from Earth.
In short, implied semantics.

maybe, but the fact that Ian said that Mega Man IV is next and that he WANTS to put the game boy games together hints that the timeline has indeed changed since issue 20 was written.

Ian said that I was thinking too hard on the timeline and issue 20, but until we get some authoritative information on how the discrepancies line up, I'll keep the alternate timeline set up going on the front page.

Anyway, I added Issue 47 and added "Worlds Unite Battles" to the list of publications.
