That one's a bit trickier. Part of the reason it's so hard to get an X book going is because the IP is inactive. The last MMX game came out nine years ago, and aside from the odd cameo here or there, hasn't had any presence in any media. It's hard to convince upper management to risk thousands of dollars to produce a book on a property that isn't very lively.

Mega Man is in kinda the same boat, and while I can't get into details, his iconic status helped a lot. Very few properties have that kind of weight behind them.

So while I adore Skies of Arcadia, we've got to be real about it: it had one game to it's name, a spruced-up re-release two console generations ago, and that's it. It has zero market presence, and it's popularity is limited to a small, devoted group of fans (with incredible taste). A lot of SEGA's IPs are like that - remembered, beloved, but they haven't done anything in years. And given how expensive it is to put out a top-shelf game these days, it's understandable why they wouldn't want to gamble on the nostalgia factor alone.

That said - once SSS vol. 12 comes out, give it a read, and write in to Archie. If one of the games really looks interesting to you, saying so can have some sway. Who knows? Maybe we can get a mini-feature out of them or something.

Makes me think of TimeSplitters. Same problem here.

What's the deal with SSS 12 ? I feel like I missed some stuff.

Eight, actually.

So why do I not feel any less old?

MMX8 and Command Mission both came out in 2004 (in North America), so ten, actually.

No! Don't go to the corner! Or at least take paper and pencil so you can write the stories AND think what you've done!

...I'll go my own corner, for yelling Mr. Flynn.

Hey get out of the Maverick Hunter X is just a reboot for the psp of megaman X. So it doesn't really count.

So, opening up bets; will Mighty and Ray have their attire from the end of the Chaotix arc or will they revert back to a more 'retro' style (not necessarily 1:1 with their actual old looks)?

I personally, think Ray should keep the new look and Mighty keep the old look.

I hope they keep their attire! They look like real adventurers...or more like Mighty looks like he belongs in a biker gang (of justice!) & ray looks like he's ready to go snowboarding!

From what I heard in this deviantART comment, Sonally is dead and they are only friends in the new continuity according to Ian Flynn. Is that true? If so, then can I have a link to Ian's post confirming that please? (link may contain innapropiate content)

He said Sonic was single in the Lost World charity play. That doesn't mean that there won't be hints and teases to it (or Sonamy) in the future, it just means exactly what Ian said; he's burnt out on the romance for now.
