That was uncalled for.

I know, I know it just seems like every post Luger makes is a complaint about something trivial and unimportent.

Eh, for some people, it's all about the little things. Devil is in the details and all that.

If it's anything like that one short story Ian wrote awhile back, it should be worth paying for. :)

One question...

This kind of follows in the footsteps of some of the Archie blog posts Ian made, back when they still did those. I thought people generally wanted more of that stuff... isn't that basically what these are?

I would honestly not be surprised if these were written last year and had meant to be posted on the blog before it vanished.

No, they were written for FCBD, but they were inspired by the blogs.

I don't recall the reason why they were shut, if one was ever given. I suppose it'd be due to how much time and space it took up to make them not being seen as worth it to Archie as a whole?

Well there used to be a link somewhere on the forum but I can't find it. Ian may have taken it down so he can publish it later.

I still don't understand in the issue when Eggman references sally miniseries. Prime and Robo Robotnik are two different entities, but I read somewhere that they share memory/knowledge? Sounded kind of.. iffy to me

The idea is that Robotnik Mk. II (Eggman) comes from a parallel universe thats idenitical to the Prime Zone up until a certain point. Eggman had the same life as the first Dr. Robotnik also up to the same point (EndGame).

Both Robotniks were raised as Julian Kintobor, both were condemned by the Overlanders and went to live in the Kingdom of Acorn, both became Warlord, both staged a coup against King Max, and both conquered their Mobius and came into conflict with the Freedom Fighters.

Their history changed when EndGame happened. Robotnik Prime was killed but Robotnik Mk. II Roboticized himself in a last ditch effort to fight the Freedom Fighters. Robotnik Mk. II's body was destroyed anyway, but as a mighty robot he was able to upload his mind and personality into a satellite.

Robotnik Prime came into contact with Robotnik Mk. II and inspired him to destroy his own Freedom Fighters in his own universe. Robotnik Mk. II did just that and when he heard that Robotnik Prime died during EndGame he went to the Prime Zone to "fill the void" in both his life and Sonic Prime's life. There, he uploaded his consciousness into the Eggman body (which was robotic at the time) and became the current Dr. Eggman we have now.

To sum it up or tl;dr: Both Robotniks experienced the events of the Sally miniseries the same exact way in their own timeline, thus they both have memories of the events.
